Ash Lane Design is my inspired interpretation of luxury home furnishing following invaluable experience serving discerning clientele in North Carolina, Boston, and Wisconsin. My inspiration is to bring character and style into my clients’ homes.

My passion is creating a home that feels welcoming, serves the needs of the family, and is decorated to complement their life and style. Years of experience have refined my style and process in becoming a full-service design firm that specializes in updating older beautiful (and sometimes historic) homes to best reflect their owners’ personality and lifestyle in a fresh way.

I know from personal experience that a comfortable, inviting and welcoming home can truly make a positive difference in everyday life.

Speaking of journeys… I have taken a new one myself. In early spring of 2021, I was offered the opportunity to join an amazing design team and established business at The Home Market in Milwaukee. After some serious contemplation, reflection, and a number of great discussions, I decided this was the perfect move at exactly the right time. You can find me there on most week days, in the store enjoying being with so many familiar faces and also doing what I love- designing homes they will love to live in!

About Ashley Evans

I grew up on the Jersey Shore (not that Jersey Shore, but a small town, ‘flip-flops and beach cruiser’ kind of place) until we moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina when I was 10. After college at UNC where I discovered my love working in independent, high-end home furnishing stores, I moved to Boston. I’d still be there, in “the perfect city”… except as life goes I met Mr. Wonderful there. He’s from Milwaukee— and life is better with him in it, so life is in Milwaukee. As it turns out, it is in fact pretty great there, PLUS I have built a successful Interior Design & Decorating business based around my casually sophisticated style and love of working with great people.
